Speaker 2:Davis Get it right, jefferson.
Speaker 1:Davis School Board on the parish and she is going to be on the queue board for next year, so we are so happy to have you here today.
Speaker 2:Thank you, I'm excited to be here. Oh, that's great.
Speaker 1:Can you tell us about what you're doing here at the Q this year and what brought you?
Speaker 2:here this year growth mindset, always trying to stay ahead of the game. And what can I bring back for myself, the district and those under me, and for the kids?
Speaker 1:Wow Wonderful. Can you tell us a little bit about your educational journey?
Speaker 2:I'm in my 22nd year as an educator. I did 17 years in the classroom before these six years of administration.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:And I can vouch for ABC because I had biology and biology leap throughout all of my classroom career and I lived and breathed with ABC for the biology as a crash course to study, when I left stuff for substitutes and even for bell ringers to begin the class or to close the class, and in my role now as a curriculum person at our school, I'm able to do that for our other core subjects through y'all Wow. So I love ABC.
Speaker 1:That's wonderful, and so you've seen the score. Improvements associated.
Speaker 2:I have and it hits home and it's pretty much aligned to the way that lead testing is.
Speaker 1:Oh, that is wonderful to hear. Thank you so much. That's great. I'm so happy to hear that it's gone so well for you in the schools. Yeah, and is there anything else you'd like to share with the LaCue community, like a message for them as you're about to approach the board next, year.
Speaker 2:Get your people out. There are so many free resources out here and times are changing quicker than we know. Don't become that dinosaur. It always evolves.
